We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Director for Europe to join our team at Lapérouse Executive Search. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing function for the entire Automotive Aftermarket Europe Division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and sourcing, with experience in negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and analyzing financial data to support business strategy.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that meet business objectives, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and supplier trends.
Main Responsibilities- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products or services.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, and manage vendor relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Lead and manage a team of sourcing professionals to achieve delivery targets while promoting motivation and engagement.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing budget, forecasts, and variances to stakeholders.
