Are you an Engineering Director or Senior Management Professional with a background in AI and machine learning that is looking for a new role in a high growth scaling San Sebastian based team?

At European Tech Recruit we are working along side a high growth startup, helping them to bring on board a new Engineering Director. The team are developing a compute platform for high performance computing with a software utilizing real-time telemetry and intelligent algorithms to optimize performance, power efficiency, and scalability dynamically for HPC and AI workloads.

Technical Engineering Director:

  • Reports directly to the CTO.
  • Leads the execution and delivery of customer projects.
  • Identifies customer needs to develop new intellectual property, enhancing company product offerings.
  • Builds and oversees a high-performing team, managing talent allocation effectively.
  • Contributes specialized technical expertise to the Tech team.
  • Collaborates with other directors to identify and leverage cross-project synergies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Machine Learning, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in NLP, Large Language Models, or Deep Learning.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Python.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with diverse teams, both in-person and remotely.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
