Job Title: Business Development Representative
">Description:
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating leads and qualifying prospects to contribute to revenue growth.
In this role, you will leverage your strong communication skills and passion for sustainable business practices to identify, research, and engage potential B2B customers through outbound calls, emails, and CRM tools.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system, collaborating closely with marketing to execute targeted campaigns, and understanding and communicating the features, benefits, and value of our platform to prospective clients.
Assisting in preparing and delivering presentations and sales proposals, as well as monitoring sales metrics to track personal performance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts are also crucial aspects of this role.
Staying up to date on industry trends and sustainability challenges relevant to our target markets is essential for success in this position.
Qualifications:
Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or relevant experience).
3+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or a similar customer-facing role.
Fluent in English (written and spoken);
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Knowledge or interest in sustainability, ESG, or supply chain solutions is an advantage.
Technical/Hard Skills:
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office/Google Suite.
Ability to use digital sales tools such as email automation, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data enrichment tools.
Strong research and lead generation abilities.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
