About the Role

Cocunat is seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Specialist to join our dynamic R&D team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the development and formulation of new products, from conceptualization to market launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and formulate new products, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions
  • Coordinate and manage product development with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and customer service teams to ensure product alignment with business objectives
  • Conduct stability and compatibility testing, ensuring product safety and efficacy
  • Monitor and address issues with products already in the market, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Research new ingredients and attend trade shows, courses, and seminars to stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including packaging, quality, and production, to ensure seamless product development
  • Support training activities, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmacy
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the cosmetics industry
  • Master's in Cosmetology and Dermocosmetics
  • Solid knowledge in product development and cosmetic formulation
  • Experience interacting with production, quality, and customer service teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with different stakeholders inside and outside the company
