About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. as part of the AMZL Finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing financial insights and analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Optimization: Leverage Amazon Logistics metrics to identify opportunities for cost reduction by linking operational and financial data. Develop a deep understanding of the cost structure to make informed decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Business Insights: Build trusted partnerships with the business to influence and support tactical and strategic decisions. Communicate financial data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner to drive business improvements and cost reductions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps. Lead projects to streamline processes and reports, ensuring efficient and effective financial planning and analysis.
  • Financial Planning: Supervise and own the financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging and solid operational plan. Supervise and own all month-end procedures, including accruals and variance analysis between scenarios.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and mentor peers and team members, promoting knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Solid work experience in finance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
