As a key member of our Quality Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) engineering expertise and analysis in the development and implementation of space products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a dependability and safety program plan for all project phases, addressing RAMS requirements applicable to the project.
- Perform RAMS design, analysis, modeling, and simulation to specify and verify that space products meet customer requirements during the whole operational lifetime.
- Represent RAMS in technical meetings involving RAMS-related issues and participate in design decisions impacting or potentially impacting RAMS.
- Review RAMS analyses performed by subcontractors and identify risks and opportunities with adequate anticipation, proposing mitigation actions.
- Prepare subsystem and equipment RAMS requirements for relative specifications, interface requirements, and test requirements by analyzing and decomposing customer requirements.
- Experience on projects in the context of safety and RAM assurance.
- Knowledge of design engineering, particularly electronic design.
- Competence in RAMS analysis methods.
- A five-year experience in RAMS engineering is preferred.
