Job Title: RAMS Engineer

Thales Alenia Space is seeking a highly skilled RAMS Engineer to join our team in Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain. As a RAMS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) engineering expertise and analysis in the development and implementation of space products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a dependability and safety program plan for all project phases addressing RAMS requirements.
  • Perform RAMS design, analysis, modeling, and simulation to specify and verify that space products meet customer requirements.
  • Represent RAMS in technical meetings and participate in design decisions impacting or potentially impacting RAMS.
  • Review RAMS analyses performed by subcontractors and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare subsystem and equipment RAMS requirements for specifications, interface requirements, and test requirements.
  • Evaluate the compliance of designs with RAMS engineering requirements and suggest design alternatives to enhance reliability.
Requirements:
  • Experience in projects related to safety and RAM assurance.
  • Knowledge of design engineering, particularly electronic design.
  • Competence in RAMS analysis methods.
