Director - Alternative Investment Funds Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director - Alternative Investment Funds. This role will be responsible for leading our alternative investment funds team and contributing to the growth and success of the Scope Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the Head of Alternative Investments in their absence and act as a communication point-of-contact between Scope Fund Analysis and customers.
- Enhance Scope's analytical capabilities and methodologies by analyzing qualitative and quantitative fund aspects, such as structural risks, operational risks, legal and regulatory aspects.
- Monitor existing ratings and recommend reviews and changes as necessary.
- Conduct discussions with clients, investors, and asset managers, as well as give presentations, explanations, and briefings at a highly professional level.
- Work closely with other Alternative Investments team members, staff, and management in Scope Fund Analysis and coordinate the workload of junior analysts.
- Produce high-quality, insightful, and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis.
- Inform colleagues on new topics and pass on knowledge within the team.
- Provide guidance to other team members to produce regular performance reports and analyses.
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, reflecting analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of Alternative Investments, focusing on the private equity and debt sector.
- Extensive knowledge of private markets, such as private equity and private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.
- Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude.
- Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive, and detail-oriented personality.
- Experience in research writing with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same.
