About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon's Operations team as a Safety Specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and customers.

As a Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring site performance, setting up workplace health and safety programs, and analyzing safety metrics to identify areas for improvement.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business to gather data and identify smarter and safer ways to work, and set up training programs to help everyone follow new safety processes and reach new standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor site performance against set KPIs and create plans to improve processes
  • Set up workplace health and safety programs and arrange training sessions
  • Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources for areas with the highest risk
  • Carry out audits to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks
