We are a 100% bootstrapped and profitable startup based in Barcelona. Our mission is to break language barriers globally by bringing audiovisual content to all. We're building the #1 Audiovisual Platform with state-of-the-art AI and trusted language experts.

About the Role:

This hybrid role is based in Barcelona, where we aim to spend about 80% of our time collaborating in person. Our speech-to-text technology isn't 100% accurate yet, so we need your help in managing the workflow and community of freelance transcriptionists from around the world.

  • Establish processes for customised offerings in multiple languages, aligning on style guides and other linguistic assets.
  • Main point of contact for customers with ongoing projects, including regular catch-ups to align on customer expectations and updates on projects.
  • Design, scope, and bring forward system improvements to handle projects efficiently.

As a dedicated media-focused Project Manager, you will work in parallel with our GTM Team and take full ownership of end-to-end delivery. If you have past experience in process building, linguist management, client handling, and third-party supplier management with a focus on customer service and quality assurance, this role may be suitable for you.

What You Will Do:

The primary responsibilities cover project management, vendor management, and customer experience, reporting directly to Madelyn Gillam Guzman. Key areas include:

Key Areas:
  • Project Management: overseeing projects through to successful completion, ensuring cost-effectiveness, linguist management, and quality assurance.
  • Vendor Management: establishing relationships with linguists, testing quality, and preparing for customer trial periods and signed projects.
  • Customer Experience: serving as the main point of contact for customers with ongoing projects, conducting regular catch-ups to align on expectations and updates on projects.

You will also design and implement system improvements to handle projects more efficiently. With a strong background in linguistics, process management, and customer service, you will thrive in this role.

Requirements:

Requirements:
  • Past experience in process building, linguist management, client handling, and third-party supplier management.
  • A strong background in linguistics and process management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a rewarding career, you will enjoy benefits such as flexible working hours and opportunities for professional growth.
