About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our Capital Projects team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EIC) engineering across various phases of design and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage EIC disciplines for capital projects, including scope, cost, design, schedule, vendor coordination, installation, and commissioning.
  • Provide automation and process control expertise, enhancing our Synertrex platform and acting as Synertrex Champion.
  • Represent the company in customer inquiries related to EIC engineering and lead contractors and suppliers.
  • Support project managers in customer/vendor meetings, risk analysis, HAZOP meetings, and ensure health, safety, and IP policy adherence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline with extensive experience as a Design, Service, or Maintenance EI or Automation Engineer.
  • Preferred experience in the Mining Industry, particularly in the design, operation, or maintenance of mineral processing and/or extractive metallurgy plants.
  • Excellent English language skills required; additional language skills are advantageous.
