Head of Logistics

Join Auto1 Group, Europe's leading car trading platform, as we continue to revolutionize the industry. As our new Head of Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our services across Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of logistics specialists, providing coaching and development opportunities to drive success.
  • Design and implement efficient procedures, training programs, and onboarding materials to optimize departmental performance and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating fees and contracts to optimize logistics area profitability.
  • Monitor and manage departmental OPEX, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams, with a strong track record of problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • At least 6 years of experience in strategic business development, startups, fast-scale companies, or strategy consulting.
  • English C1 or above, with Portuguese B2 a plus.
