Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our operations team. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our payment services by identifying and mitigating potential financial crime risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review new applications and assess provided documentation for correctness and completeness
  • Identify risks and record them, providing clear explanations and risk assessments
  • Monitor existing customers through periodic reviews and alert responses
  • Handle requests regarding changes within a merchant's account
  • Provide support to merchants on onboarding, risks, fraud, and chargebacks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have recently completed your studies in a relevant field, such as law or economics. Relevant experience within a financial institution or similar is also essential. Knowledge of KYC, CDD, Financial Supervision Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act, and the Sanctions Act is an advantage. You must be analytical, able to quickly identify patterns in potentially unexpected or suspicious activities, and maintain a balance between thorough research and a positive customer experience. Fluency in English (oral and written) is required, as is honesty and accuracy.
