We are the home for tech enthusiasts worldwide. In our tech, we combine IT and non-IT specialists from various fields. Together, we bring innovations to life – for retail to enhance the everyday lives of millions of people. REWE digital Spain belongs to the REWE Group, one of Germany and Europe's leading trade and tourism groups with around 390,000 employees. In REWE digital, over 2,200 IT specialists set standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and development of new technologies for the sector. REWE digital Spain is located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga. As a team of 30 colleagues, we drive innovation for REWE digital in Germany. Your newly founded team in Spain will administer data catalog and API management platforms to create transparency about data and APIs within REWE digital. In this respect, your team is the basis for a modern IT infrastructure with decentralized data ownership. We are looking for a Product Owner (PO) – someone who combines the entrepreneurial spirit to find innovative solutions with a team in Spain and promotes the topic among diverse stakeholders in Germany. Responsibilities:
You are holistically responsible for your product and budget.
Your team will administer two solutions (Collibra & Gravitee), and you will steer the mentioned service providers throughout the entire process.
Together with your team, you will help make processes more efficient through automation.
You will promote the concept of data mesh and advertise the usage of these platforms within REWE digital.
Together with your team and stakeholders, you will shape the product vision and product roadmap and ensure the basis for a modern IT infrastructure.
You are responsible for developing the backlog, identifying dependencies with stakeholders, the team, and respective experts, and ultimately deciding on priorities, which you also represent.
You stay up-to-date and keep yourself informed about trends and innovations on the market.
You stand for transparent, open communication with your team, stakeholders, and colleagues. Requirements:
First and foremost, your personality: commitment and reliability, paired with the ability to work in a team.
Innovative strength, entrepreneurial thinking, and foresight as well as a results- and goal-oriented way of working.
A degree in computer science or business administration with a strong focus on IT or comparable training with several years of professional experience.
Your experience as a product owner in an agile working environment.
Methodological expertise (e.g. Scrum Master, Agile Coach)
