Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team at Social-Discovery-Ventures. As a key member of our product development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our social discovery platforms.

Social-Discovery-Ventures is a global technology company that builds apps at the intersection of dating, social, and entertainment. Our portfolio includes 70 social discovery platforms with a focus on AI, game mechanics, and video streaming. We actively support and invest in social discovery startups worldwide through our venture fund.

With over 500 million users in 150 countries, we strive to have ten times as many. Our digital nomad team of more than 1200 professionals works remotely from around the world, solving the prevalent problem of loneliness and shaping Social Life 3.0 — a new digital reality where people can fulfill their needs for communication and attention from other people and artificial life forms.

Responsibilities
  • Data Collection, Analysis, and Research: Gather and analyze business data to identify areas for improvement. Evaluate business processes and conduct research, such as surveys, to pinpoint potential issues.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collect and refine requirements from stakeholders. Create detailed technical documentation for the IT department.
  • Presentations and Recommendations: Present findings and recommendations to senior managers and executives. Produce written reports summarizing data analysis.
  • Implementation Support: Provide guidance and training to help implement recommended changes. Gather data to assess the impact of implemented changes.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Provide detailed design documentation, assets, and specifications to support the development process.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of design solutions through user feedback, analytics, and other data sources. Continuously seek opportunities to refine and enhance the user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience working with product teams as a Senior Product Designer on B2C products.
  • Using both product metrics and UX metrics to shape your decisions.
  • Provision of high-quality Design and Technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with User Research Methods, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Expertise in conducting them, such as interviews, usability testing, user surveys, and A/B tests.
  • Experience with Figma, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • B2+ or higher level of English proficiency.
  • C1+ level of Russian proficiency.
