Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Director to join our team at Oilandgas.Org. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, technical sales, business development, and management consulting, with a proven track record of effectively interacting with senior/executive level management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic and change management projects to accelerate progress toward the company's growth strategy
  • Develop and evaluate business models, go-to-market tactics, and identify cross-country business trends
  • Pioneer business opportunities by initiating, developing, and following through pilot projects
  • Provide EVP and management team with information and deliverables on projects to increase productivity and effectiveness
  • Leverage technology to align and share information, and apply technical solutions to enable data sharing and ease decision making
  • Align communication, people, processes, resources, and systems to ensure effective implementation and delivery of required results
  • Prioritize conflicting needs, address matters expeditiously, and follow through on projects to successful completion
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • At least 10 years progressive management experience with a background spanning product management, technical sales, business development, management consulting, corporate/divisional strategic planning, business development, product management, energy or industrial project management, or marketing/finance
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior/executive level management
  • Strong technical background in energy or industrial fields, project management, business, finance, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills
