Operational Excellence Specialist

As a key member of the Carrier team, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within our factory. Your primary objective will be to implement, maintain, and improve the deployment of operational excellence on-site, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency in processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the factory, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between functional areas to align business objectives.
- Apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies, such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Andon, Heijunka, Poka-Yokes, TPM, Gemba Walks, and Just-In-Time, ensuring their adaptation to the company's specific needs.
- Plan and coordinate improvement projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines and established objectives (APQP, Agile).
- Monitor and evaluate operational results, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure the success of continuous improvement/Lean initiatives.
- Participate in evaluations of the factory's continuous improvement system on its path to certification at the GOLD level.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to equip staff with continuous improvement/Lean methodologies and ensure a deep understanding and effective application.
- Create and maintain documentation and support materials to ensure continuity and consistency in the application of Lean practices.
- Promote the participation of all staff in improvement initiatives, ensuring that the voices of all levels of the organization are heard and valued.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, ideally in Industrial Organization Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in multinational industrial environments, leading quality assessments.
- Experience in project development where continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Lean Logistics) have been applied.
- Knowledge of tools: POWER BI, POWER Apps, and other BI tools.
- Fluent in English (B2/C1) and Spanish.
- Computer skills: Regular user of MS Office.
- Valid work permit for the EU.
- Experience in developing events where group dynamics and communication have been created.
- Strong learning and self-learning abilities.
- Knowledge of applicable quality standards ISO 9001.
- Experience and knowledge in project management tools.
