About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of localization experts, driving the success of our clients in the Swiss German market. As a Localization Specialist for Swiss German, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' content is accurately translated and localized for the Swiss German-speaking audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage localization projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement localization strategies.
- Work closely with localization vendors to ensure their continuous development and timely delivery of projects.
- Provide linguistic expertise and guidance to ensure consistency in tone of voice and style.
- Conduct quality assurance and consult with subject matter experts as needed.
- Liaise with the global localization team to ensure consistency of approach and input on process improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience, including budget management and stakeholder management.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on localization experience working with online translation software, CAT tools, and TMS.
- Proven advanced training in the linguistic field (bachelor's degree minimum).
- Fluent in English and native-level Swiss German (spoken and written).
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel, InDesign, HTML, and other web-based tools.
