Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer/ Team Lead to join our cross-cultural technical team and contribute to the development of efficient server-side applications for one of the biggest retail vendors in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate with development teams to determine application requirements and design functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Develop efficient back-end applications in Python, leveraging frameworks like Django and Flask.
  • Design and implement REST APIs to meet business needs.
  • Ensure high-quality code and deliver solutions into production.
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong background in Python development (3-5 years of experience).
  • Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience with Python frameworks, relational databases, SQL, and Python entity frameworks like SQLAlchemy.
  • Understanding of DevOps culture and experience with containers is a plus.
