Job Summary:
Chubb is seeking an Underwriting Specialist for its Continental Europe Underwriting Center in Madrid. As a key member of the team, you will support small and medium-sized clients and brokers in their own language, providing excellent service and working closely with underwriting and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to brokers and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate processing of underwriting requests.
- Evaluate and price risks in accordance with Chubb guidelines and underwriting authority, ensuring portfolio sustainability and promoting cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with underwriting and sales teams to ensure effective management of policies throughout their life cycle.
- Support brokers handling small and medium-sized enterprises by maintaining good commercial relationships and providing quality service.
Requirements:
- Native/bilingual in French is a must.
- Business level of English (C1) is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, law, insurance, or engineering would be preferable.
- Experience in the insurance sector is important.
- Prior underwriter experience in Casualty, Environmental risks, and Life sciences is preferable.
