About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations & People Manager to join our team at Byld, a Corporate Venture Builder. This role will be responsible for overseeing the operations and people functions, ensuring the company's smooth functioning and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for financial reporting, working closely with the operations intern and management team to ensure strategic decision-making.
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting structure for team members and partners.
  • Oversee the OKR setting process and follow-up.
  • Define and oversee the people & culture strategy, including talent acquisition, performance management, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Identify potential problems and points of friction, and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to optimize office procedures, such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and internal database updates.
  • Process improvement and analysis of tools to maximize efficiency and internal processes.
  • Support the management team in preparing quotations for clients, follow-ups, and sending and receiving signed projects, clients, and staff contracts.
  • Review and update company templates for contracts, quotations, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Contract drafting and assistance in other legal documents related to corporate governance.
  • Define procedures for the preservation, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of office records.
  • Be the direct lead for the Operations Intern.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of work experience in consulting, banking, investment funds, law firms, startups, or business-related fields.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
  • Proficiency in tools like Slack, Clickup, Notion, and other productivity tools.
  • Advanced Excel/Google spreadsheet skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a drive for perfection.
  • Experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of law and Spanish business regulations and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading teams and with HR/people management processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Curious and fast-learning mindset.
  • Experience in office management.
  • Good conflict management/problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in event management and event logistics.
