We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator to join our Localization team at Dice. As a Freelance Translator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality translations and localization support for our Product and Content teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide translations and localization support for our Product and Content teams, including new features and updates for our website and apps, as well as backend platforms for our partners.
- Translate documentation and help articles for our audience and partners, marketing campaigns, promotional/editorial content, and company presentations.
- Write promotional copy for events, blog posts on music/event-related topics.
- Provide other services such as review, localization testing, quality assurance, and transcreation.
- Create and update style guides, glossaries, and other reference materials, and maintain the translation memory.
- Have full ownership of translation quality for your language, establishing standards and best practices.
- Manage any questions and critical feedback from internal and external stakeholders, giving rationales for your work and explaining your thinking clearly.
- Fluency in English, native tongue Spanish, and Catalan.
- Proven experience as a translator in any of the following subjects: music, technology, marketing, and e-commerce.
- Experience in app/website localization.
- Solid understanding of localization with an appreciation for cultural nuances.
- A good understanding of the market's music industry and live entertainment business.
- Flexibility in working hours and schedule, available for small tasks with quick turnaround and ongoing collaboration as the localization effort extends to all business areas.
