Senior Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our client's team in Valencia. As a key member of the accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our client's private equity funds.
Key Responsibilities:- Document capital activities, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, and distributions.
- Record and reconcile cash transactions, conduct cash reconciliations.
- Document and reconcile investment trading activities.
- Perform reconciliations of security positions.
- Pricing portfolios, including derivatives, equities, and bonds, as per fund offering documents.
- Ensure accurate accrual of fund income and expenses, including management and performance fees, compliant with relevant accounting standards.
- Generate Investor Statements and contract notes.
- Create distribution waterfall calculations.
- Compile financial statements.
- Coordinate year-end audit and tax reporting requests, collaborating with clients and auditors.
- Efficiently manage client inboxes, promptly and professionally responding to queries.
- 2+ years of fund accounting experience or FS audit experience.
- Knowledge of closed-ended funds.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, and constant change.
- Prior experience with PFS-Paxus is desired, but not required.
- An accounting designation is desired, but not required.
- Contract: Permanent
- Working model: Hybrid in Valencia (2 days WFH)
