Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Elevator Testing and Design to join our Product Development Center in Móstoles. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Generating test plans and protocols linked to available mechanical tools over internal designs and/or supplied devices.
  • Identifying possible design mistakes and improvements, working together with designers and/or external suppliers.
  • Verifying specifications and validating the functionalities of mechanical devices, components, and complete lift systems.
  • Generating reports and documents related to performed tests.
  • Performing tests while ensuring personal safety rules and good facility estate.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Fluent English language skills, writing and conversation B2.
  • Laboratory tools management knowledge, including data acquisition cards, thermographic cameras, high-speed video cameras, and other equipment.
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
  • FMEA methodology knowledge.
  • Availability for occasional travel.

Desirable

The following skills are desirable:

  • Minimum three years of experience in mechanical testing and design of tester devices.
  • Datalyzer software knowledge for FMEA management.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools, such as Jira, XRay, and Confluence.
  • Previous experience in cross-functional teams and knowledge of the V-model methodology (VDI 2206).
