Elevator Testing and Design Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Empresa reconocida, a leading company in the elevator manufacturing industry. As a Mechanical Engineer for Elevator Testing and Design, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our elevator systems.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans and protocols for mechanical devices and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design Review and Improvement: Collaborate with designers and external suppliers to identify and address design mistakes and improvements, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Validation and Verification: Verify and validate the specifications and functionalities of mechanical devices, components, and complete lift systems, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports and documents related to test results, ensuring accurate and timely communication with stakeholders.
- Personal Safety and Facility Management: Ensure personal safety and good facility management practices during testing and design activities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Language: Fluent English language skills, with a minimum of B2 level in writing and conversation.
- Technical Skills: Laboratory tools management knowledge, including data acquisition cards, thermographic cameras, high-speed video cameras, and other specialized equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with FMEA methodology and its application in mechanical testing and design.
- Travel Requirements: Availability for occasional travel.
- Experience: Minimum three years of experience in mechanical testing and design of tester devices.
- Software Tools: Familiarity with Datalyzer software for FMEA management.
- Project Management Tools: Knowledge of Atlassian tools, such as Jira, XRay, and Confluence, or other tools related to requirements and test cases management.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the elevator industry, including knowledge of EN81 Codes.
- Teamwork and Communication: Experience working in cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills.
- Methodology Knowledge: Familiarity with V-model methodology (VDI 2206).
