Role Overview

The Engagement Manager will lead the execution teams across multiple projects and will lead client engagements, including Business Development Activities in alignment with Principals, Partners, and the Managing Partner from the MAP Consulting Practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution/Billability (~65%): Utilize in-depth understanding of the life sciences and healthcare industry and broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies to deliver gold-standard consulting expertise to clients.
  • Independently lead and manage execution teams and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal or no guidance and/or supervision.
  • Guide teams in prioritizing critical client issues to translate them into actionable client focus solutions and strategies.
  • Support and lead teams in client interactions.
  • Ensure that client deliverables are of the highest standards and quality, that they reflect accurate and up-to-date information, and are executed and delivered in a timely fashion.

Business Development/Corporate Initiatives (~25%):

  • Actively engage in the full business development (BD) effort, from lead generation, to pitching, and to closing.
  • Support Principals and Partners and other senior leaders in developing and delivering successful proposals, pitches, and capability presentations.
