About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Expert to join our team at Interstate Ac Service. As an Automation Expert, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining and improving our site's systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support other areas in troubleshooting and provide assistance to manufacturing operations as part of the day-to-day routine
  • Maintain and improve the site's systems and processes
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Responsible for systems integration in the IT infrastructure, fostering IT/OT collaboration
  • Implement site projects, leading or participating in them, contributing automation knowledge
  • Interact with cross-functional groups
  • Define and maintain SOPs and other GMP documentation of automation systems for inspection readiness
  • Collaborate with EHS and Quality Departments to implement and sustain safety and quality culture in the site
  • Interact with Global Automation, following standards and guidelines, to assure Digital Transformation
Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering (Automation, Electronics...) or similar
  • Fluent English
  • Experience around 3-5 years in automation in a pharmaceutical industry or similar
  • Experience in a GxP environment
  • Experience working with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs, Wonderware and System Platform SCADAs, SIEMENS HMI systems
  • Good knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure and equipment connectivity (networks, active directory, backup&restore, EPP...)
  • Knowledge of Data Historian, Cybersecurity and MES strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills to work in an environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Ability to communicate, interact and influence effectively at all levels
