Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Manage deployment processes for multiple feature and platform services, including on-premises;
- Maintain and improve application availability and performance for a global portfolio of customers;
- Identify manual processes and design and implement automation solutions;
- Guide teams in the design and implementation of microservice architectures;
- Support incident response teams with in-depth infrastructure and service knowledge;
- Manage APIs that support both design-time and run-time application functionality;
- Collaborate with device client engineering teams to ensure that services meet performance, availability, and functional goals;
- Maintain a constant focus on security by design, including the mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in computer science or equivalent education and/or proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role;
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD);
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker container management;
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform;
- Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS);
- Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git;
- Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure;
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash);
- Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work;
- Excellent English communication skills;
- Ability to contribute effectively as a team member while also excelling in independently completing tasks and responsibilities.
Knowledge of Java, Go, and SQL is advantageous.
