Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Developer to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities aligned with our company's strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification and Valuation of New Business Opportunities: You will be responsible for identifying and valuing new business opportunities in the field of renewable energies, assets with flexibility, storage, and hydrogen.
  • Due Diligence and Acquisition: You will participate in due diligence processes for the acquisition of projects/companies and analyze generation assets (mainly valuation of assets under development).
  • Negotiation and Co-Development: You will negotiate co-development agreements with third parties and ensure the fulfillment of developer and project commitments as set out in the acquisition and development agreements.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering / Civil Engineering. Master's degree in renewable energies or similar will be valuable.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the development of renewable generation assets in Spain (utilities, developers, or leading consultancy firms).
  • Skills: Financial modeling for the modeling of generation projects, experience in energy management of generation assets in Spain and electricity markets, knowledge of the regulation of the Spanish electricity market in terms of generation, proficiency in the Office package, and high level in English (C1).
