We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join our Property Recoveries team in Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a variety of general recoveries tasks, including investigatory work on fast and multi-track files, investigating liability on general recoveries claims, and negotiating quantum and settlement of damages with third parties.
Key Responsibilities- Exercise full compliance with DAC Beachcroft LLP protocols on billing and credit control
- Demonstrate a high level of financial management in respect of own files
- Handle confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols
- Achieve a minimum budgeted annual target of 1440 chargeable hours per year
- Be a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, or have substantial pre-qualification experience
- Be interested in and willing to learn insurance property damage law, including the basic principles of contract law and tort
- Have good communication skills to liaise with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues
- Be able to critically look at factual evidence, identify key legal arguments, and apply the same
- Have a commitment and enthusiasm with a professional attitude
- Have commercial awareness, resilience, and confidence
- Demonstrate alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined, and Supportive)
