Product Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative professional to lead the development of new products, from conceptualization to launch, ensuring that our strategic objectives are met.

As a New Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products, including the creation of recipes, product development, and launch planning. You will work closely with the factory, marketing, and operations teams to identify opportunities for product development and translate them into viable concepts.

You will investigate and analyze market trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. You will develop and maintain a solid research and development plan, including timelines, budgets, and necessary resources.

You will manage and coordinate collaboration with external suppliers, testing laboratories, and other commercial partners for the development of new products. You will evaluate the technical and economic viability of product development projects, considering factors such as scalability, production costs, and profitability.

You will supervise and support the corporate chef, providing guidance, training, and continuous feedback. You will ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards related to the development and launch of new food products.

Requirements:

• University degree in food-related fields, such as Food Engineering, Food Science, or similar.
• Postgraduate degree in Project Management or Innovation will be highly valued.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product development within the food industry, with a focus on processed foods or similar products.
