Systems Analyst Job Description

Flowserve is a leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems. As a Systems Analyst, you will be part of a team that is committed to building a more sustainable future and making the world better for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the operation of all SAP systems, including multiple SAP instances and complex SAP S4 and ECC landscapes.
  • Manage incidents of the respective SAP instances and ensure rapid and correct processing of IT tickets and hosting partner tickets.
  • Monitor and control all relevant system parameters, update controls, database monitoring, performance checks, health checks, and interface checks for IDoc, RFC, and SMTP.
  • Supervise SAP Security and transport changes between SAP systems via Solution Manager.
  • Provide evaluations and support internal and external (SOX) audits.
  • Plan, execute, and coordinate SAP patches, release changes, system copies, and OS patching with our hosting partner.
  • Be the contact person in all relevant areas of SAP Instance Management and a consultant to find solutions and solve problems.
  • Work closely with other Flowserve IT teams and 3rd party support and hosting partners.
Requirements:
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
  • Strong hands-on experience in complex SAP S4, ECC, BW4HANA environments.
  • SAP Portal Management, including SAP Note implementation, system openings for remote access by SAP, and S-User Management.
  • Experience in Solution Manager, GTS, and APO systems, as well as SAP MII desirable.
  • Experience in Ariba and MDG desirable.
  • Ability to proactively manage and resolve issues in cooperation with several in-house teams and multiple 3rd party partners.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
