Job Description

Overview

Ubisoft is seeking a highly skilled Game Economy Designer to join our team. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing economic systems that drive player engagement and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype economic systems that incentivize player investment in our game economy.
  • Recommend rewards and monetization features to create a balanced and engaging economic system.
  • Collaborate with game designers to develop game features that maximize player satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods, balancing free content with paid currency.
  • Balance customer experience and revenue opportunity for in-game currency and virtual goods.
  • Drive new initiatives for monetizing and rewarding the customer base.
  • Create a fun, engaging, and outstanding player experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social/MMO/F2P games.
  • Knowledge of F2P mobile market, including industry trends, key competitors, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of game design, balancing, pacing, and monetization strategies for F2P games.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Fluent level of English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Videogames design degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with mobile game development.
  • Experience with live ops is a plus.
