About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Data Engineer with strong expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and experiences in Data Platforms and Data Mesh paradigm. The Data Engineer will work closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build high-quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from the organization's connected data, enabling the organization to advance the data-driven decision-making capabilities of the organization's enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solve complex data problems to deliver insights that help the organization's business to achieve their goals
  • Build a Data Platform to help product teams, data analysts, and data scientists to solve complex data problems and deliver insights and value in a faster, easier, and cheaper way
  • Architect and implement a Lake House architecture in the Data Platform that enables data democratization in Bunge Iberica for any kind of structured or unstructured data

Requirements

  • Agile learner with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working as part of a technical, cross-functional analytics team
  • Ability to solve complex data problems and deliver insights to enable analytics strategy
