Industry Marketing Director for Life Sciences
The Industry Marketing Director for Life Sciences will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for Clarivate's Life Sciences and Healthcare industry segment. This includes building awareness and preference for the Clarivate brand, identifying opportunities within the segment, and developing positioning and content that aligns with the company's product and consulting capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of product marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the Life Sciences and Healthcare market. They will be a strong writer, highly organized, and able to influence peers and counterparts in cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with marketing and brand teams to create comprehensive and measurable marketing plans for Life Sciences and Healthcare
- Collaborating with internal subject matter experts and external research firms to gain deep insights into user and buyer behavior
- Developing and maintaining market narratives that highlight how Clarivate products and services meet buyer needs and align with industry trends
- Working with partners across strategy and the commercial organization to identify whitespace and cross-sell opportunities
- Equipping sales teams with effective tools and training specific to the industry segment
- Overseeing content marketing strategy and development, creating key content assets in line with the marketing funnel
- Overseeing website content management, analyzing web metrics, and optimizing content for increased demand generation and customer engagement
- Ensuring thought leadership strategy and content development align with business goals
This is a full-time permanent position based in London, UK or Barcelona, Spain. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, business- and commercially-minded, and highly organized.
