About Our Cocktail Bar

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cocktail Bar Director to join our team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for leading the growth, maintaining the standards of excellence, and improving performance of all areas of our business.

You will work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and Assistant of Food & Beverage Director to manage day-to-day operations, staff training, and compliance with health and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team and ensure high-quality service that meets guest needs promptly and courteously.
  • Build training plans and conduct training to enhance team performance.
  • Manage and issue monthly rota, orders, and stock taking.
  • Conduct staff induction and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Manage Health and Safety, Food Safety, and maintenance.
  • Analyze sales and market data to forecast sales and optimize inventory.
  • Assist with hiring process, conduct performance appraisals, and make personnel-related decisions.
  • Track and control team productivity and operational expenses to ensure profitability.
Requirements
  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for drinks, food, service, and hospitality.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Experience within the luxury hospitality sector is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook proficiency.
  • Finance literate.
  • Passion for hospitality.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker.
  • Intimate knowledge of international bar community and cocktail bars.
