About the RoleThis is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and Support Teams: Drive scaled agile adoption, mindset & execution among leaders, teams, and scrum masters.
- Optimize Value Flow: Apply agile tools and methods to enhance the ART's flow of value.
- Facilitate Planning and Execution: Coordinate events and processes to synchronize the ART.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Facilitate Inspect and Adapt workshops and implement improvement actions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Ensure strategy and execution alignment with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and Remove Impediments: Make impediments visible and support removing obstacles early on.
- Assure Value Delivery: Manage risk, dependencies, and drive relentless continuous improvement.
- Share Best Practices: Collaborate with other RTEs across the organization to share best practices.
- Publish Metrics: Track and publish metrics to ensure the ART meets its objectives and outcomes.
- Economic Decision-Making: Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation.
- Product Backlog Health: Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure a healthy Product Backlog and readiness for PI Planning.
- Quality Practices: Support and enforce SAFe Quality Practices and participate in end-to-end testing where necessary.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- SAFe Certification: Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent experience in a similar role within a SAFe environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach.
- SAFe Framework: Profound understanding of the SAFe framework, its application, and Lean-Agile principles.
- Moderation/Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated outstanding moderation/facilitation and coaching skills in facilitating Program Increment (PI) planning, Inspect and Adapt workshops, and other key SAFe ceremonies.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach teams and stakeholders in Agile practices and mindsets.
- Agile Tools: Experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA & Confluence.
- Risk Management: Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and impediments that affect program scope, schedule, and quality.
- Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle issues swiftly within the Agile Release Train (ART).
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with stakeholders of all kinds and levels, from team members to upper management.
