About your role as Career Coach: You'll be responsible for evaluating students' resumes and LinkedIn profiles using a grading rubric. This involves providing constructive feedback, guiding students to improve their content, and hosting one-on-one or group meetings to discuss improvements. Additionally, you will direct students to career services resources within the Canvas learning platform and ensure they are aware of all available tools and support.
Your key responsibilities:
Resume Packaging and Review- Conduct thorough reviews of students' resumes and LinkedIn profiles to ensure professional presentation and market alignment.
- Assist students in using the provided resume template, guiding them in accurately representing their skills, experiences, and achievements.
- Perform an initial review of student resumes, offering feedback and suggesting revisions to meet quality standards.
- Host virtual meetings to discuss feedback and suggest improvements.
- Work with students on finalizing their resumes for approval and use in their job search.
- Guide students in creating or updating their LinkedIn profiles to establish a professional digital presence.
- Advise on profile elements including headline, summary, work experience, and skills.
- Collaborate with Career Coaches to tailor resumes and LinkedIn profiles throughout students' eligibility with career services.
- Provide students with templates, feedback, and best practices to empower them in creating high-quality career documents.

You should have:
- Experience in resume writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, career coaching, or talent acquisition.
- A strong understanding of industry trends and best practices for resumes and professional profiles.
- Experience in coaching or advising students or professionals is preferred.
- Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management systems is a plus.
Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
