About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to lead our Surgery Service as the Head of the Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to our patients, while also mentoring and guiding our surgery interns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Surgery Service as the Head of the Service, overseeing the clinical care of patients and mentoring surgery interns.
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients, with a focus on orthopedic and soft tissue cases.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in the training and education of surgery interns and other team members.

Requirements:

  • ACVS/ECVS Diplomate Specialist or exam candidate.
  • Experience in leading a team and mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
