Lead Our Surgical Team as a Small Animal Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Small Animal Surgeon to join our esteemed team at Hospital Aúna Especialidades Veterinarias, a 24-hour referral-only hospital renowned for its excellence in various veterinary specialties. As the Head of our Surgery Service, you will lead a team of experienced professionals, including an ECVS residency-trained clinician, a part-time ECVS diplomate, a senior surgeon, and three surgery interns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Surgery Service, overseeing clinical practice and case management
  • Collaborate with the team to advance clinical research and training
  • Contribute to the development of our European specialist residency program
  • Participate in the training and mentorship of surgery interns
Requirements:
  • ACVS/ECVS Diplomate Specialist or exam candidate
  • Experience in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
