About the Job

We have an opportunity for a Data Annotation Specialist to work on projects in the Research and Development Organization in the Health and Life Sciences Platform Team. The annotation specialist will be responsible for transcribing, translating, and editing medical records and reports in various European languages, such as German, French, and Dutch.

The annotation specialist needs to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in their target language or multiple languages (polyglot), as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology, healthcare documentation, and country-specific standards and regulations. The annotation specialist also needs to coordinate with different stakeholders from Data, Research, and Supplier teams to provide feedback, update guidelines, and monitor quality and progress of tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Data Annotation: Transcribing, translating, and editing medical records and reports in various European languages, such as German, French, and Dutch.
  • Maintain/update guidelines as necessary for the projects or languages in alignment with the stakeholders and product teams.
  • Keep track of quality standards and ensure thresholds are met against all projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a medical-related field with at least 2+ years' work experience in healthcare documentation specific to EU countries or regions.
  • Fluent in German, French, or Dutch languages.
  • Or equivalent experience working in hospital networks with deep knowledge in healthcare documentation requirements for EU countries or regions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Healthcare with at least 3+ years' work experience in healthcare documentation specific to EU countries or regions.
  • Fluency in other European languages to include German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.
  • Or equivalent experience working in hospital networks with deep knowledge in healthcare documentation requirements for EU countries or regions.
  • Certifications in coding, Medical Scribing, or equivalent.
