We are seeking a QA Tester to join our team in Novato, California
Description of the role:
A QA Tester will test video game titles on various consoles, PCs, and handheld devices to ensure the software meets high standards. This role reports to the Lead QA Tester and/or the QA Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and execute test cases/scripts, find and enter detailed bugs with supervision, and regress fixed bugs in the database.
- Find defects using established methods.
- Execute assigned test cases under supervision.
- Enter detailed bugs into the bug database.
- Regress fixed bugs on each release with support.
- Learn about 2K's games, tools, and processes as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Knowledgeable about gaming devices, consoles, and PCs.
- Computer literacy (Office suite, Google suite, Outlook, and Database Software).
- Understanding of department core values and adherence to Company policies.
- Advanced written and verbal communication in English.
- Able to work in a team environment.
Education and experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Desirable previous software testing experience.
- Effective communication in English (C1 or higher).
Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
