Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Encore Marketing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting awareness of brand image internally and externally, using sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott Vacation Club. You will also be responsible for recognizing opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott Vacation Club experience or event.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Critical Tasks

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Dedicated tour generation via the Encore programme
  • Responsible for Encore post sales process
  • Presentation of the Encore programme in its entirety to the Tour no Sales
  • Filling out the purchase form and getting credit card authorization from customer
  • Ensuring that customers leave with a good feeling about their experience
  • Performing necessary follow-up

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information
  • Ensure nametags and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional, and in compliance with company policies and procedures

Guest Relations

Your duties will include:

  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible
  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell
  • Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner

Communication

You will be required to:

  • Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language
  • Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information

Physical Tasks

You will be expected to:

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance

Working with Others

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
  • Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
