Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Biostatistician to join our team at Syneos Health. As a key member of our biostatistics department, you will be responsible for leading complex projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality statistical analysis plans and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead biostatistics projects from protocol development to clinical study report (CSR) completion
  • Mentor and train junior biostatisticians on job skills and statistical analysis techniques
  • Develop and implement statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables
  • Provide statistical programming support and review of project work produced by other biostatisticians

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in biostatistics or a related field
  • Extensive experience in clinical trials, including lead roles in biostatistics projects
  • Strong programming skills, including proficiency in SAS and R
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and train junior staff
  • Experience with regulatory submissions and data safety monitoring board (DSMB) activities
