Tax Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Data Analyst to join our team at Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. - B76. As a Tax Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our indirect tax compliance initiatives, working closely with our customers and technology partners to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Support tax initiatives from a project management and data perspective, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
- Collaborate with indirect tax colleagues to extract data, answer data questions, and develop custom reports to meet their needs.
- Improve existing processes by automating and reducing manual work, leveraging your expertise in data mining and coding.
- Work with technology partners to innovate and maintain complex business and data solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our tax compliance systems.
- Perform process analysis to design or redesign multiple integrated process workflows, ensuring Amazon processes are state-of-the-art and efficient.
- Conduct detailed data research and analysis of large financial datasets, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving data quality issues.
- Implement projects to optimize data operations, working closely with our key technology providers to support technology upgrades and migrations.
- Create and maintain dashboards used by tax compliance teams, providing real-time insights and visibility into key performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or computer science.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department.
- Preferred qualifications include experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software, such as Vertex.
