Job Summary

Imperium Commodity Search is seeking a highly skilled Marine Fuel Trader to join our team. As a Marine Fuel Trader, you will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies for bunker and marine fuels globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement trading strategies for bunker and marine fuels to meet the specific requirements of various NATO and naval forces worldwide.
• Manage day-to-day military requirements for marine fuel and bunkers, maintaining existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
• Conclude and negotiate supply contracts with global ports, managing pricing, risk management, and logistics from end-to-end.
• Communicate continuously with naval and military operators to ensure all requirements are met for their fleet.
• Ensure all trades are executed in a timely fashion, collaborating with operations and finance departments.
• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards of compliance.
• Utilize company in-house tools across operations, pricing, logistics to ensure smooth execution of delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a trading house or physical supplier of marine fuels, bunker, MFO, MGO, and new fuels within the military, navy, or defense sector globally.
• Experience dealing with marine fuel operations within global ports (Europe, Asia, Africa, US, etc.).
• Key knowledge of bunker operation regulations within various geographies.
• Experience within key account management (military or navy account management beneficial).
• Fluent in English, Spanish (European languages beneficial).
