Job Title: Product Specialist

As a Product Specialist at Enza Zaden, you will play a crucial role in the development and evaluation of new vegetable varieties. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct trials, evaluate, and report on experimental varieties in all research stages before commercial release.

You will work closely with the Breeding and Sales teams to support decision-making in the variety development process. This involves administering, collecting, and evaluating trial data in Enza Zaden's administration systems and formats, as well as adhering to relevant protocols of third-party organizations to ensure local quality and phytosanitary compliance of trials.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct trials and evaluate experimental varieties
  • Report on trial results and provide recommendations to the Breeding and Sales teams
  • Administer and collect trial data in Enza Zaden's administration systems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc degree in Agronomics or Agricultural Technical engineering
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of agriculture and the seed business
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
