**Job Summary**
Edp Energias De Portugal S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of our Health and Safety policies and procedures across all areas of the company.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assess regulatory compliance of sites and offices, and propose action plans to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Perform risk assessments of employees and develop preventive actions plans to mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Conduct regular safety inspections at O&M and E&C sites, and provide reports on findings.
- Implement and participate in the update of tools and applications that support Health and Safety activities.
- Monitor contractors' Health and Safety performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide technical support to other departments during project phases, including Development, Construction, and Operation.
- Collaborate with HR teams to develop and deliver Health and Safety training programs.
- Ensure the implementation of the EDPR Management System, including ISO 45001 and H&S Management Systems.
- Participate in Health and Safety governance, including Management Review, HSE Commissions, and Corporate H&S monthly meetings.
**Requirements**
- Academic level: Occupational Health and Safety Officer or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Knowledge of PV plants is a must, with wind farms being a plus.
- German legislation and ISO 45001 and H&S Management Systems knowledge are essential.
- International experience is a plus.
- High German level and fluent English are required.
