Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a key member of our Global Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our Mexico and South Latin America, Caribbean and Central America (SouLACC) entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and projections under US GAAP and local FRS for internal reporting and tax purposes.
  • Perform analysis of projections vs actuals and follow up on differences.
  • Lead the monthly accounting variation analysis process and prepare Mexico and SouLA US GAAP FS.
  • Identify applicable adjustments and coordinate registers with responsible areas.
  • Responsible for the preparation and timely registering of the Mexico Inventory Reserve.
  • Proactively work with production finance and other involved parties for the preparation of information and corresponding adjustments for local requirements.
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory to ensure the accuracy of the information.
  • Partner with production finance for the correct and on-time delivery of information requested for statutory and corporate audits.
  • Prepare and analyze the intercompany royalties calculation.
  • Supports the preparation and analysis of Mexico-segmented financial statements.
Requirements
  • Degree in accounting or finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in similar roles.
  • Professional registration in the Regional Accounting Council.
  • Strong critical thinking and quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of the use of data analysis and metrics.
  • Ability to translate data and trends into actions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships across all levels and functions.
  • Fluency (oral and written) in English and Spanish.
