About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrialization Engineer to join our team at Hyperion Materials & Technologies. As an Industrialization Engineer, you will play a critical role in the industrialization of new products and processes, ensuring that our manufacturing operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new product and process designs, ensuring that they meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures, methods, and specifications, to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or non-conformities.
- Work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of new technologies and manufacturing processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including production team members, department managers, and external partners, to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the company's investment plan, ensuring that capital expenditures are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in new product and process industrialization.
- Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and project management.
- Strong technical skills, including competence in pressing, turning, and grinding processes, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Fluent English language skills, with Spanish language skills a plus.
